In partnership with Anglicare, the Mobile Community Pantry van provides grocery items at very low cost if you’re in a difficult situation and finding it hard to pay for food. We offer this service to help you find a more hopeful future in Jesus.
As costs for day-to-day expenses such as rent, food and power continue to rise, a setback such as sickness, loss of a job or an unexpected bill can make you feel your financial situation is getting out of control. We’re here to help.
Community members are welcome and all you need to do is bring along your Pension, Health Care or Immigration Card. In exchange for a small contribution – a $10 bag gets about $60 worth of groceries - you can then fill a bag with items of your choice from the stock available. Each shopper is limited to 2 bags per visit.
The Mobile Pantry operates at the Ropes Crossing Community Hub, 54 Pulley Drive, Ropes Crossing NSW 2760 every second Tuesday 1.30pm - 2.30pm.
Yes! We are returning post-Covid19.
